Meditation — TENTH BODY
(
Transitions to a Heart-Centered World, Gururattan Kaur Khalsa, p. 140)

Posture:        Sit in Easy Pose or in a chair with your back straight.

Focus:           The eyes are focused on the three lines of the wrist (“wrist bracelets” or “Healthy, Happy, Holy lines”).

Breath:          Inhale and chant the Guru Gaitri Mantra 3 times on one breath.

Mantra:          GOBINDAY      (Sustainer)

MUKUNDAY     (Liberator)

UDARAY          (Enlightener)

APARAY          (Infinite)

HARIANG        (Destroyer)

KARIANG        (Creator)

NIRNAMAY     (Nameless)

AKAMAY         (Desireless)

Mudra:           Cross the wrists at 90 degrees, 10 inches from the nose, palms facing face at eye level, right wrist in front of left.  Keep thumbs in line with hand, wrist and forearm.

Time:             Continue for eleven minutes, chanting rhythmically and rapidly.

End:               Inhale, hold the breath for 5-10 seconds, then relax.

Comments:  The mantra describes God in various aspects.  Chanting the mantra in this mudra 11,000 times is the “Varchic Siddhi.”  One can avoid a pre-written death through this meditation, manifest any positive wish and erase any negative thing in one’s personal destiny.
