Kriya for the
BROW CENTER (SIXTH CHAKRA)

- Stand up.
Stretch arms up, come up on toes, inhale, drop onto heels, exhale.
Continue for 2 minutes. (A nerve in the big toe--which is interconnected
through spinal relays to the pituitary gland--gets stimulated.)
- Tree Pose.
Still standing, bring the right foot flush against the left thigh (up to
the groin, if possible). Put the palms together at the
Heart Center. Concentrate
through the third eye to a point on the ground 6-8 feet in front of you.
Hold as long as possible, breathing restfully. Then change legs and
repeat. Apply Neck Lock. Use Mulbandh (Root Lock) to keep the
pelvis turned under. (As long as you concentrate steadily, you will
balance; when your mind wavers, you will fall over!)
- Frog Pose.
Squat down, balancing on the balls of the feet. The heels are touching
and raised up. The fingertips are on the ground between the legs, spine
erect, the face is forward. Inhale, straighten the legs, look at the
knees, keep the fingertips on the ground and the heels raised up. Exhale
down, face forward, spine erect. Repeat 15 times. Sit on heels, meditate
on breath flowing up and down spine, concentration centering on the third
eye.
- Still Sitting on
Heels. Extend arms straight
in front, parallel to each other, parallel to the ground, lean back 60
degrees (almost far enough to fall over). Begin Breath of Fire focusing
with open eyes on any point straight ahead, drawing Infinite Energy
through that point. 5 minutes. Inhale, hold for 5-10 seconds, bring the
spine vertical, close the eyes, draw attention to the top of the head,
exhale, relax, meditate on the breath.
- Sit in Easy Pose.
Hands in Gyan Mudra. Close off anus, inhale, gather prana at the third
eye, eyes closed, exhale, fix concentration at the third eye, repeat with
deep, powerful breaths five times. On final exhale, pull up rectum and
sex organs; pull navel point in tight towards spine, pull chin in tight,
keeping head up. Inhale and release the lock, all the while concentrating
at the third eye. Continue in this pattern for 6 minutes.
- Sit on Heels in
Rock Pose. Hands in Venus Lock
behind neck, touching bare neck. Breath of Fire for 1 minute. Then
slowly bend forward from the waist, keeping the spine straight, continue
Breath of Fire, take 3 minutes to bring forehead to the floor. Then
inhale, hold 30 seconds, exhale, relax the arms, relax the whole body for
5 minutes in this position (Baby Pose).
- Chant Long Ek
Ong Kar (Morning Call).
(Optional.) Then deep relaxation.
